Minatura focuses on early-stage exploration, development and extraction of precious metals in central and western Colombia – regions with an impressive gold endowment as well as potential for significant copper and silver deposits. Because large areas remain under-explored, the use of modern techniques holds the promise of major new discoveries.Over the past decade, Minatura’s management has focused on acquiring and developing a land package with significant exploration potential.

The current mining concessions total over 300,000 hectares held in 21 different regions, of which 55,000 hectares are held through mining contracts with a 30-year life. Minatura has selectively chosen these areas for significant precious or base metal hard rock potential, or to provide attractive alluvial potential for rapid cash flow, particularly in areas where the alluvial resources could be easily defined and extracted.
